Pressure Calibrators

Pressure calibrators generate or measure a known pressure so that gauges, switches and transmitters can be verified against a reference.

Druck, Additel, Fluke and Ashcroft cover this range, which is divided further into general handheld calibrators, pneumatic sets, deadweight testers, gauge comparators and laboratory standards. The choices that narrow the field are the pressure range, whether generation is pneumatic or hydraulic, and whether the instrument needs to document as-found and as-left readings for an audit trail. Accuracy is quoted as a percentage of full scale or of reading, and that distinction matters most at the low end of the span.
