Who we are

We are engineers who happen to sell instruments.

IndoMultiMeter started because Indonesian plants were buying test equipment from catalogues written for someone else's climate, someone else's standards and someone else's lead times. We stock and specify for the conditions here: humidity, dust, remote sites, and audits that ask hard questions about traceability.

IndoMultiMeter is built in Batam, for plants that get audited.

IndoMultiMeter is based in Batam, a port city surrounded by the shipyards, fabrication yards and process plants we supply. Most of what we sell goes into environments that are hard on instruments: salt air, heavy humidity, and sites a long way from the nearest service centre.

That changes what a supplier has to be. A catalogue is not enough. Someone has to check that the logger you ordered survives the panel it goes into, that the calibrator covers the range your procedure actually calls for, and that the certificate behind it will stand up when the auditor reads it.

So our quotes are written by people who work with the instruments, our stock positions are stated plainly, and every instrument that needs paperwork ships with it.

Our mission

Every instrument we sell has to survive the plant it goes to. We specify for Indonesian conditions first: humidity, dust, remote sites, and auditors who ask hard questions.

A quote should answer a question, not create three more. You get the model, the lead time and the stock position, and a straight answer when a cheaper instrument would do the job.

A measurement is only worth what its paperwork proves. Everything ships with calibration documentation traceable to national standards, ready for your ISO 9001 or API audit.

What IndoMultiMeter supplies

Five measurement disciplines, stocked in depth rather than breadth for its own sake. Every line below links to instruments we have specified for real sites.

Pressure measurement

Deadweight testers, pressure calibrators, digital gauges and transmitters, from workshop reference standards down to field instruments that ride in a toolbag.

Standards and traceability

Every instrument IndoMultiMeter supplies that needs a certificate leaves with documentation traceable to national standards, so it holds up when an ISO 9001 or API auditor asks. In Indonesia that chain runs through Badan Standardisasi Nasional and laboratories accredited by Komite Akreditasi Nasional, with the SI units themselves maintained internationally by the BIPM.

How IndoMultiMeter works

The same rules apply to every order, whether it is one multimeter or a calibration lab fit-out.

Engineer-led quoting

The person writing your quote has specified and used the instrument. If a cheaper model covers your procedure, the quote says so. If the lead time is six weeks, it says that too.

Stock positions you can plan around

When our quote says in stock, the unit is on a shelf with a date attached. Indent items are quoted as indent items, with the real lead time from the factory.

Calibration comes first

We sell measurement, not boxes. Instruments that need certificates leave with the paperwork that proves them, and we can advise on recalibration intervals when they are due.

Next step

Tell us what you need to measure.

Send the range, the accuracy and the application. You'll get a written quote with model, lead time and stock position, from an engineer, not an autoresponder.
