1. Where We Ship

We ship worldwide from Batam, Kepulauan Riau, Indonesia, to business and institutional addresses. We do not deliver to PO boxes, and some destinations are unavailable where export control, sanctions or carrier restrictions apply. See Section 13 of our Terms & Conditions.

A deliverable street address, a named recipient and a working phone number are required on every order. Instrument consignments are signed for; they are not left unattended.

2. Shipping Charges

A flat shipping charge of USD 300 is applied at checkout, in addition to the product price. Prices on the Site are quoted in United States Dollars and exclude shipping, duties and taxes.

This flat rate covers export packing, documentation and freight for standard consignments — handheld and bench instruments, calibrators, probes, cases and accessories.

Oversized, heavy and specialised consignments are re-quoted. Items such as calibration baths, dry-block furnaces, incubators, deadweight testers, platform scales and pallet-freight orders can exceed the flat rate. Where actual freight is materially higher, we contact you with the exact cost for written approval before dispatch. You may cancel for a full return of payment at that point rather than accept the revised charge.

Where you prefer to use your own freight forwarder or courier account, tell us before you order and we will quote on an ex-works basis instead.

3. Order Processing

Processing begins once payment has cleared. For cryptocurrency payments this means the transaction has reached the required number of network confirmations, as described in Section 7 of our Terms & Conditions.

Stock positionTypical dispatch
In stock1–3 working days from cleared payment, subject to any calibration or documentation the order requires.
Requires calibrationAdd 3–7 working days where an instrument ships with a fresh certificate.
Indent / made to orderQuoted individually against the factory lead time current at the date of order confirmation. Commonly 4–12 weeks.

The stock position that applies to your order is the one stated on your written quotation or order confirmation, not the catalogue page. Orders placed on Indonesian public holidays or outside working hours (Mon–Fri, 09:00–18:00 WIB) are processed the next working day.

4. Transit Times

Transit time runs from dispatch, not from the date of order, and excludes time held in customs.

  • Indonesia — typically 1–4 working days to major cities, longer to remote sites and eastern Indonesia.
  • Southeast Asia — typically 3–7 working days by air.
  • Rest of world — typically 5–14 working days by air.
  • Sea freight — quoted separately for heavy consignments, typically several weeks.

These are estimates based on normal carrier performance. They are not guaranteed delivery dates, and we do not offer refunds or compensation for transit delay. See Section 9 of our Terms & Conditions.

5. Carriers, Tracking and Documentation

We ship through established international and domestic carriers, selected per consignment on the basis of destination, weight and the nature of the goods. You receive the carrier name and tracking number by email on dispatch. Please monitor tracking and be available to receive the consignment.

Export documentation, commercial invoices and packing lists are prepared by us. Calibration certificates, test reports and manufacturer documentation travel with the instrument.

6. Duties, Taxes and Customs Clearance

Unless your quotation states otherwise, you are the importer of record. Import duty, VAT, PPN, customs brokerage, port charges, storage and any licence or permit required at the destination are payable by you, directly to the carrier or authority, and are not included in the shipping charge.

We declare goods accurately, at their true transaction value. We cannot mark a shipment as a gift, under-declare its value, or alter a commercial invoice, and requests to do so will be declined.

Consignments abandoned, refused or returned because import charges went unpaid or permits were not obtained are handled under Section 8 of our Terms & Conditions. Freight, storage and return costs are your responsibility and are deducted from any credit.

7. Dangerous Goods and Shipping Restrictions

Parts of our catalogue are regulated in transport, which affects how and where they can travel:

  • Lithium batteries — instruments containing or packed with lithium cells ship under IATA dangerous goods rules, in compliant packaging and with the required marking. Some destinations and some carriers will not accept them by air, which can lengthen transit.
  • Calibration gas — pressurised gas cylinders for gas detector calibration generally cannot travel by air and are restricted to ground or sea freight. They are usually supplied domestically or sourced locally at the destination.
  • Radioactive check sources, mercury-containing instruments and certain chemical standards — supplied only where the destination permits import and the required documentation is in place.
  • Pressure vessels and hydraulic equipment — may require draining and purging before shipment.

Where a restriction affects your order we tell you before dispatch and offer the available alternatives.

8. Split Shipments and Partial Delivery

Multi-line orders may ship in more than one consignment where items come from different sources or become available at different times. Splitting an order does not attract an additional shipping charge unless it is made at your request. Each consignment is tracked separately.

9. Delivery, Inspection and Risk

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to you or to a carrier you nominate. Title passes on receipt of payment in full.

Record an unboxing video. A wrong, missing, transit-damaged or dead-on-arrival item must be reported within 3 × 24 hours of the delivery timestamp, supported by a single unedited unboxing video that starts before the outer packaging is opened. Without it a delivery-fault claim cannot be processed. The full evidence requirements are in Section 3 of our Returns & Warranty Policy.

If the outer carton arrives visibly damaged, note the damage on the carrier delivery record before signing, and photograph the carton before opening it.

10. Failed Delivery and Address Errors

Check the delivery address before you complete checkout. Once a consignment has been dispatched, an address change may not be possible, and where a carrier can make one it usually charges a redirection fee that is passed on to you.

Where delivery fails because the address was wrong or incomplete, nobody was available to receive the goods across the carrier attempts, or the consignment went unclaimed at a depot, any re-delivery, storage or return freight is charged to you. Goods returned to us in this way are not treated as a return under the Returns & Warranty Policy; all sales remain final.

11. Insurance

Standard consignments carry the carrier default liability, which is generally low and calculated by weight rather than by the value of the instrument. If you want the shipment insured for its full value, request marine or all-risk cover before dispatch and we will quote the premium. Instruments shipped without additional cover travel at the carrier limit.

12. Delays Outside Our Control

We are not liable for delay caused by customs inspection or clearance, carrier backlog, weather, port or airport disruption, strike action, manufacturer or component shortage, or any other event described in Section 20 of our Terms & Conditions. We will keep you informed and press the carrier on your behalf.
