Temperature Calibrators
Temperature calibrators generate a known, stable temperature so that probes, transmitters and thermostats can be checked against a reference rather than against each other.
Additel, Ametek Jofra, Fluke Calibration, Fluke and PIE cover this range. The main choice is the heat source. Dry-well calibrators warm and cool a metal insert and suit field work because there is no fluid to spill, though they depend on a well-matched insert bore for good uniformity. Stirred liquid baths give better uniformity and stability across a larger volume and suit laboratory work. Infrared calibrators provide a controlled emissivity target for checking non-contact thermometers. Tell us the temperature span and probe diameter you work with.
